In the beginning!

Day one. I now have a blog....da dah!! I hope to use this space to keep myself on track. To keep records of my projects, and to share with fellow-knitters. The Fishermen's socks are my latest finished project. This was a project shared with "Sockmaniacs Sockalong" group. (And a fine group, I might add).

As I have always loved Fishermen's sweaters, these socks have a very soft spot in my heart.

I am now working on the first STR club sock "Rock and Weave". Nearing completion of the first sock. Photos soon to come......

And, since it's the 1st of June, the new Six Sox pattern is posted. It is somewhat spooky, in that it is toe-up. A new challenge for me!! More later...much more, I am sure!

Hi Kathy, your Fisherman socks are wonderful, and you are getting a good start on blogging! I see you fixed the 'don't have to have a blogger id' to leave a comment problem, you go girl!

I don't have a blogger blog, but have one I run using Wordpress software (I'm a techie) but I ended up getting a blogger id for comments and for joing knit alongs that use blogger for group postings.
(I just logged out of my blogger id to test out your 'other' identity and it is working!)

Hi, Kathy! I enjoyed looking at your socks. They look great! I'm going to do my toe-up Color Block sock in a not so wild color also. Is the Sockmaniac group on yahoo? I might have to join that one also.
