The terrible toe....

This sock was relatively easy for me - for some reason I did not have the usual problems with the dreaded Yarn-overs that I normally experience. But - then there was the toe - the terrible toe! I had to frog 3 times! I had the sock all done except kitchnered, and I tried it on - Opps! A wee too short. So - frogged, and started the toe again.... only to discover as I neared the end that the decreases were majorly off - so frogged again. Then, the 3rd time, I just didn't like the looks of the line of the toe - I was adding additional "even" rows in, to add length, and it just didn't look right. Grrr.....

Sometimes it's the simple things that drive you nuts!!

Even with the "toe problem", it looks so pretty! This is a pattern I must try very soon. Your knitting is beautiful and I also like the color you chose for this pattern.

The toe looks PERFECT to me and the sock is absolutely gorgeous in the not quite solid deep reds!
