I am pretending that I know what I am doing...and forging right along. I refuse to be intimidated by sweater pieces. So, hopefully, when I start putting it all together, and picking up the front band, the entire sweater will cooperate! At this point, I am relying on intimidation...
I had to redesign the sleeve tops, as the first ones (per the instructions) left a great deal to be desired. Now, I am not sure if it is fault of the pattern, or the knitter, but whatever it was, the fit was just not right. Gratefully, I had stopped the "two at once" process when I got to the underarm point, so what I had to frog and re-do was only needed on one sleeve.
I promise not to bore you with anymore "in progress" shots of this project. Next time you see it, it will be a true sweater (I hope!! - or, er, I guess you will just never see it again -- either way is probably good!)

The pieces look great. I'm not bored! Keep posting picture, please!
I've never blocked before sewing together before. Do you block again after sewing?
Oh please don't stop posting your progress pictures! I need to see how you sew it up.
It's looking fabulous!
I need photos as well as information about pattern problems and how you fixed them. It looks great! The tiles are perfect for blocking.
I can't wait to see the sweater finished, It looks so pretty. And Sofee is just so darn cute in every picture, I love them. OH and your socks...I'm going to give the pattern a try...side to side may get finished faster for me...LOL
The sweater pieces look great! We love the new Sofee picture too :) She really seems to love having her picture taken, it cracks me up!
Sofee you are soooooooooooooooo cute I can't stand it.
Tell your mommy that she is never, and I mean never,
boring.
Oh, and also, tell her the sweater pieces look great.
She sure knows how to knit.
Looks PERFECT! Have fun putting it all together...
WooHoo! Lookin' great!
[... joining sweater pieces is something I CAN do!!] Take a deep breath, pat Sofee on the head, and pin to the middles!
I am so enjoying your picture post. In fact the posting of the sidewinder has given me hope. It is on the project list with some yarn from sockpixie.com.
Take care.
