Mission Accomplished!

 Remember this fiber:
When I decided to spin it up, my goal was yardage - lots of it.  I wanted a thin fingering weight yarn, something similar to Heritage Cascade, which I would consider thinnish.  Well, I succeeded!
I got 542 yards!  And while this color is pretty wild (by my standards)
I must admit I love it!
Not sure what it will grow up to be....
But right now I'm just happy playing with it, oh, and yes, taking photos.  (Sorry so many).  For those of you that are interested, it's an N-ply.  I wanted to keep the colors separated.  For non-spinners, that is a way of creating a 3-ply yarn out of one single strand, so the colors aren't as mixed up.  Some folks say it's not as sturdy as a regular 3-ply, but it does have it's place.  The fiber was a somewhat recent club selection of the Into The Whirled group.  "Just Figs" is the colorway.  We were asked to post photos for color inspiration and then we voted.  The winner became Chris's colorway inspiration.  She could actually make a color-lover out of me if this keeps up!

Just wow! That is gorgeous. How many ounces did you start with? Now that I can successfully spin a respectable 3-ply, my next goal is to get thinner so I can get enough yardage so I don't have to worry about running out on socks, etc. You did a wonderful job on this!

Your plying is so beautifully consistent. I'm envious, having never mastered Navaho plying and I've been spinning a very long time. Can't wait to see a finished project out of this one!
