Thanks be to Nancy Bush....

My New England socks are completed, and I am very pleased with the final outcome. I have all three of Nancy Bush's Sock books, and while I have admired the designs, have never taken the plunge to make any of them till now. I am very glad that Shirley and I chose this pattern for our KT. The yarn is my favorite, Lisa's Sock!, in Denim colorway. I know these socks will be worn a great deal!! Thanks to Nancy and Lisa both!!

My next project will be a new sweater for Sofee. She is looking very Rag Tag in a little chewed on hand-me-down sweater outgrown by her big brother Herky. Wish I could find my notes on how I made that little sweater, however, as the fit is pretty good and she seems to enjoy wearing it on chilly fall mornings. And, what Sofee does not enjoy, Sofee does not do.... :)

Hi Kathy - I came to look from the KOTR-along. Your New Englands are absolutely beautiful! I think they are the prettiest socks in her book and I haven't made them yet. Now I really want to! It looks like Travelers Stockings might be the "winning" sock for the next KAL...

Awww..Sofee looks so cute. She looks like she is just anticipating what you are going to knit her next! My Fiber Trends Dandy Dogs pattern arrived today and I just can't decide which sweater to knit Snooks first. I might have to scan the pictures and have all my blogging friends help me decide!

Another lovely Nancy Bush Sock! Great job!

Lovely socks! I just completely my Nancy Bush collection last weekend -- the big challenge will be deciding WHICH SOCK to knit first...but none until Christmas Presents are done!

Great socks! I'm a new sock knitte and I have been thumbing back and forth through Knitting on the Road, all night trying to match my gauge swatches up to any of the socks I'd like to knit! So hard to choose. My main concern in that most of my yarn in varigated. I especially want to do the Travelers sock, but I'm not sure my varigated yarn "Winter in Tahiti" will work. What's your opinion?
