"Nuttin but knittin" - that says it all, with an occasional deviation into the real world.

Somes things are....

Winners!
Others....not so much!
I really like the cowl. It's out of worsted weight Malabrigo, using the pattern "Wave Cowl" in the current Knotions issue. The Colorway is "Stonechat". I actually have another skein of this glorious stuff. The cowl lays so nicely on my neck, providing a great deal of warmth. I altered the pattern a bit, making it a little smaller in diameter right under my chin. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will give you details of what I changed. Anyway....LOVE it!

The Scarf is the "Inside-Outside" scarf, a Knitters free download. I don't care for the "knit one below" technique very much. It creates too loose of a fabric for my liking. This scarf is soft, but, well.....just not anything to be excited about. Can't win 'em all, I guess.

We are in the middle of a deep freeze here in the Midwest. Our "high" for today is predicted to be 0 degrees. Knitting woolies and drinking hot tea is about the only thing you can do on a day like today. Oh - and also wrap up those final Christmas presents. I do have that chore on the list for today. Hope everyone is getting ready for the Holiday....and will have a safe and happy one.
