BG loves to look out the patio door at the birds while eating his breakfast. Today, he was excited to see two big Blue Jays in our little redbud tree. But, he wanted to know where the "Woodknockers" were that he had seen yesterday! So, the question...do YOU have woodknockers in your neighborhood?
LOL.....he so often makes me laugh! It brought to mind Art Linkletter's "Kid's say the Darndest Things". Now THAT dates me!!! Have a good day, everyone....and hope you share a giggle with someone that you love.

How cute! Those little ones do bring smiles to our faces. I can see why BG said that, it seems to make more sense!
We have lots of flickers that do lots of knocking (and damage) in our n'borhood and an occasional pileated woodknocker and downys, too. Love your newest yard; what are you going to make with it?
That is so cute, woodknockers, at least you have him to entertain you when there is no knitting. And yes we have Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers in my neighborhood. But no big ones close that I have seen.
Tell BG I have a woodknocker in my tree. I was laying in bed one morning hearing the noise that it was making thinking "Is that a woodpecker?", a couple of days later we were leaving to go somewhere and we heard the noise again and up at the top of the tree was a woodpecker. I thought it was pretty neat.
We do! We have little red-headed woodknockers. BG would love them. They love to hop up the side of the tree in our yard looking for a tasty bug to eat.
Your knits and yarn are just lovely.
LOL Yes we have woodknockers here, but we have one that likes ot knock on the metal signs and chimneys in the area!!!
