Everyone should have the chance to experience the world thru the eyes of a three year old. There's excitement around every corner - trust me!
The current WIP's are dwindling, with only one pair of plain jane socks on the needles currently. So...I just finished a spin for a new shawl.
This fiber (two 4oz of variegated bfl, Wizard Island colorway)
Became this on the niddy noddy:
I plan to knit a "Faraway, so Close" shawl in a KAL with the FatCatknits group on Ravelry. I think I like the yarn - I think. Not sure what I expected, but...., well, we'll see how it knits up.
BG loves preschool, btw. My first day as a volunteer teacher will be Monday. I'm looking forward to it. He plans to call me "Mrs. Grandma". Works for me! :)

Mrs. Grandma, that's so cute! I like your yarn too. Can't wait to see how it knits up!
I think the shawl will be stunning! I love Mrs. Grandma. For the last three years Mei-Mei (our 3-year-old) has called me Nana. All of a sudden she's started calling me Grandma. I think Grandmother will be next.
That spun yarn is soooooooo in my colorway. It's gorgeous. I can only imagine what it's like to look through the eyes of a 3 yr old. I know you are truly enjoying yourself.
Great photos, Kathy aka Mrs. Grandma. (Very cute!) Around here spiders are a sure sign of fall...
Love that yarn; it should look great in that pattern as I assume you'll get stripes?
BG sounds like so much fun. Beautiful spinning for your KAL. Can't wait to see the shawl.
I too spun up Wizard's Island, I like how it turned out, but am not sure what it wants to be yet!
