How does the saying go.....

Never judge a book by it's cover?
Unless, of course there is a cute dog on the cover!  Fun reads.  I wish the there was a little more about the dog in the story line, but the cast of characters were quirky enough and held my interest....with a few chuckles along the way.

It was 60 degrees here today.  BG and I ate lunch outside and then had a "bike" (AKA - big wheel) ride half way around the block.  I'm sure that is a January first for this region!!  It's great fun to enjoy the warm weather, but we really NEED winter.  I want all the bugs to get killed off, and we need moisture.  They are starting to talk about how stressed the trees and such will be if this continues.  I've always been a fan of four distinct seasons.  I promise....I'll not complain if we get real winter soon.  PROMISE!

Yoy were warmer than us. Enjoy your Spring-like weather while you can.

I've read about your crazy weather! We've had it unusually mild also...but not dry. Your project is going to be good...nice colors, I think! What's the pattern? Have happy, healthy New Year with lots of fun with BG!

I'm a big fan of Alexander McCall-Smith. I'm listening to one of the #1 Ladies Detective Agency stories now. Yes, as much as we complain about winter, it's really necessary. Hope you get some snow soon.

I hear you Kathy, since here in my neck of the woods it's 56 degrees today and I'm not liking it one little bit. I love the winter and wait patiently for my itsy-bitsy short lived cold spell but this year it's yet to happen. I think we've had a total of 4 somewhat cold days since winter supposedly began....ACK!

After the snowless December we had, us Michiganders were sure we were going to be buried in snow in January and February. So far that hasn't happened and next week is forecast to be above freezing again.

Yes this weather is totally strange. Instead of our typical three day January thaw, we had one three day snow. The rest of the days have been above freezing.
