It's a sock! And, an amazingly well fitting one too, I might add!! I am very pleased indeed. Life got in the way of my knitting yesterday, so today I had to get caught back up, and finish with today's installment of the pattern. The final act was to Kitchener the center back, all the way down to the toe. Then there was a short horizontal seam that needed to be grafted too. Totally magical.... I plan to start the mate tomorrow morning...bright and early. Great fun, and the pattern was just meticulously written! Nona formatted it in a huge range of sizes. Truly one of the best written patterns I have ever used. My hats off to you, Nona!!
And as promised, progress on my sleeves. The photo is horrid, please forgive, but you get the general idea. I have not been a TOTAL slacker.... :)

I love the sock - I'm going to have to make those!
You certainly are moving on the cardi - you'll be doing the finishing in no time - the fun part, right?
The sock is wonderful! Loving your sleeves, too.
I was wondering how the Sidewinders would get joined up. I never would have guessed kitchener! The pattern is so intriguing and as usual your work is just lovely. Love the cardi too!
Great socks and they look like they fit very well. The MHC sleeves are beautiful! As Pat said, you will soon be finished.
The sock is amazing!
Looks like you are in the "home stretch" on the cardigan!
The sock looks very cool. What a great way to use self striping yarn!
Keep going on that cardigan. You'll be finished in no time.
Awesome job! You used the perfect yarn and knit the Sidewinder beautifully. Thanks for knitting along -- I loved watching your day-by-day progress. It's knitters like you who make posting serial patterns so much fun.
Nice looking sidewinder, almost as perfect as mine,,, LOL,,, Joking of course! I completely agree with your comments about Nona's pattern, I had a blast knitting this sock.
STUNNING! And I'm not kidding! I'm writing those down on my socks-to-knit-someday list, however....kitchenering the whole length of a sock does not sound like fun. That being said, you are probably an old kitchener pro now and can do it in your sleep. Or, do you say the the kitchener mantra over and over in your head as you try to fall asleep?
kitchener up the center back? what did you do to not lose track of where you were?
I must say, it's a nice looking sock.
looking forward to seeing the sweater all together.
