Sidewinder update

This could actually be a sock soon! Today we shaped the first 1/2 of the toe using paired increases every row. Nona's instructions couldn't be any better written. I think it is basically 1/2 of a sock at this point. I am beginning to understand what I am knitting even! Cool, huh!!

I'm also knitting the SIdewinders with a wild Opal yarn (one of the Hundertwasser colorways) and I was second guessing myself until I saw your sock. Yours looks great--thanks for pegging yours out so I don't have to do it to mine:)

I'm very much enjoying this knitting adventure.

I cannot tell you how fun it is to watch your progress! Isn't the toe a kick -- I love how it magically appears almost out of no where. In the next Act, it will dwindle back away to nothing :-)

This looks like an interesting way to knit a sock.

Oh, my gosh, Kathy! This looks like quite an adventure! Can't wait to see your finished sock(s)!!

I saw a nona blog about this pattern several days ago and thought "It's beyond me!" But...you say the pattern is well written. Hmm, I don't have a sock OTN at the present. Might have to think about this one....

I'm watching this experiment with great interest. Looks like a fun summer sock project.
