Must I match the stripes in sock #2? I am going to have to splice the yarn in an attempt to do so.....and even then, I'm not sure I'll manage. A total mismatch might be better than a botched up match attempt. The color repeat is so long..... I used almost the total 50 gr skein for this one, and the other skein starts in a totally different place. Hmmmm..... I know what I would LIKE to do, but I also know what I will PROBABLY do. This is vintage Regia yarn, btw. It's amazing what you can find in the bottom of your stash bins! LOL! Going there is actually quite fun......
